On Saturday, March 12, 2022, at around 2:45 a.m., the Edmonton Police Service was called to Ertale Lounge, located on 118 Avenue NW near 124 Street, after reports of multiple shots being fired outside of the bar. Some 70 rounds had been fired into a crowd of people. Seven people (5 men and 2 women) had been shot. One of the victims, 28-year-old Imbert George, of Edmonton, succumbed to his injuries.

Saed Osman is from Ontario but had been living in Edmonton and has strong ties to the city. Investigators believe he may be in Edmonton or Saskatchewan, actively evading arrest. They also believe he may have changed his appearance (hair, facial hair).

WARNING: Take no action to apprehend Osman yourself. He may be armed and is considered extremely dangerous. Anyone offering Osman assistance in evading arrest may be considered an accessory after the fact and face charges.
